I feel like Carawith her mitered squares, except mine are granny squares. I've been crocheting grannies for a long time, but this is my third finished granny square afghan in 2 and a half weeks, with a forth one half completed, and enough squares partially finished for 3 or 4 more, depending on size. Yes, I'm obsessed.
But, happily enough, after my trauma with the knitting needle, I seem to be able to knit again, thank goodness! I cast on for a pair of mittens for charity yesterday & knit one & part of the second one in the am before I went into work. Today I finished the mitten & finally cast on for my May sweater, using stash yarn that I'm very, very nervous I have enough of (it's vintagey goodness, so I can't easily order more). I'm knitting a cardigan, top down, so we'll see.

You can never have too many squares - or too many blankets. It looks great!
